Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Tidiest Pro handles information in connection with the Tidiest Pro Google Sheets add-on.

Information Tidiest Pro accesses

Tidiest Pro interacts with the active Google Sheets spreadsheet so it can perform the user-requested text and cell operations inside that spreadsheet.

How spreadsheet data is used

Spreadsheet data is used only to carry out the actions the user initiates, such as capitalization, punctuation cleanup, find and replace, character editing, merge and split operations, transpose actions, and undo history support.

Spreadsheet content is processed within Google Apps Script for the active spreadsheet workflow. Tidiest Pro does not send spreadsheet cell content to the Tidiest Pro website for text or data tool processing.

Data sharing

Tidiest Pro does not sell user data and does not intentionally share spreadsheet content with third parties for advertising purposes.

Data retention

Tidiest Pro may temporarily store limited workflow state needed for add-on functionality, such as locked ranges or undo and redo history, within Google Apps Script user properties associated with the add-on workflow. Undo and redo history can include previous and replacement cell values so the user can reverse add-on actions, and users can clear that history from the add-on.

External services

Tidiest Pro may use external services that support billing and subscription verification for the add-on experience, including Stripe checkout and a Tidiest Pro-hosted subscription status service.

Billing and access verification data

When subscriptions are enabled, Tidiest Pro may send the user's Google account email address or a user-linked subscription email address, and the email domain, to the Tidiest Pro-hosted subscription status service so the add-on can determine whether the user has active access. Tidiest Pro may store limited account and billing-related information such as the purchaser email address, subscription status, plan type, Stripe customer reference data, and access verification timestamps.

Security

Reasonable steps are taken to keep the add-on limited to the spreadsheet functionality needed for the product experience. Users should still avoid testing on sensitive spreadsheets until they are comfortable with their own workflow and controls.
