How do I start using Tidiest Pro?

Open the add-on in Google Sheets, choose the launch button on the add-on landing card, and then select a tool from the HTML tool menu.

What are locked ranges?

Tidiest Pro uses locked ranges as a working target. Select cells in the sheet, then use the tool sidebar's lock controls to register the active range before applying most operations.

Which tools expect text cells?

• Capitalize
• Clean Punctuation
• Find and Replace
• Edit Characters

These tools are intended for text content. Date values, numbers, checkboxes, and other non-text values may be skipped or may not behave like plain text.

Why would a tool report that no text cells changed?

This usually means the locked range contains non-text values, or that the text already matched the requested format. For example, a date displayed in Sheets may actually be stored as a number rather than plain text.

Can I use Tidiest Pro on formula cells?

Formula cells should be used carefully. Some operations may write back plain values, which can replace the underlying formula result. Test on copies when formulas are important.
